Behind the Scenes at Our December Shoot

When our catalog shoot days roll around there is always a mix of excitement and nerves among the crew. It is fun to create a new, exciting look and feel for each line. The brainstorming and problem solving that go into each set and line creation are incredibly detailed. Sometimes things go exactly like we planned them and sometimes, well, they don’t.

A few outtakes.

For December, we wanted to play on shades of the color red. This traditional holiday color served as the perfect backdrop for the bright, punchy colors in the line. For part of our catalog we created a backdrop of boxes that we painted in the rich hue. This is where it got tricky… Despite all of our box-layout-pre-planning, the boxes weren’t fitting together like they were supposed to. Like a skillfully played game of real-life Tetris, it was all hands on deck to get the box wall to cooperate. Luckily, our crew of five box movers was able to get them all squished together just right so the shoot could go on!

Our model keeps on modeling despite the box moving happening behind her.

Throughout the December holiday catalog we show you 31 days of outfits. Which is your favorite????

It’s been a great 2012, see you in 2013!

I love behind the scenes! Your catalog shoots are so gorgeous!!

I do not know if it’s just me or if perhaps everyone else experiencing issues with your site. It seems like some of the text in your content are running off the screen. Can someone else please comment and let me know if this is happening to them too? This might be a problem with my browser because I’ve had this happen before.
Cheers
